2. Fundraising Candy Sale - Students will turn in remaining money and unsold candy.
3. Missing Layout Pages - Update! Editors-in-Chief and Associate Editors will review each page and make necessary changes. Layouts must be saved and re-uploaded to SharePoint.
4. Students will begin movie review project. After brainstorming the best movies of all time, students will study two published movie reviews to examine content. Students will review How-To pages for writing reviews. Students will review instructions for assignment and begin working.

3. Current Event News Article Presentations - As students listen to presentations, they will listen attentively, respond to presenter's questions, and evaluate the impact of each topic in relation to teen audiences.
4. Journalism II/III Project - Yearbook Layout for Journalism - Students will study examples of LHS yearbook layouts for clubs and organizations. As individuals or with a partner, students will create a Journalism/Newspaper Staff layout using InDesign to submit to the yearbook staff. Minimum elements to include: headline, text, class photos, names of staff members, quotations from staff members, candid/posed photos, and captions. Yearbook staff sponsors will judge all submissions, and Mrs. Clay will give a $10 gift card to the 1st place winner. Due next Friday, February 6th.
5. Journalism I - Individual Projects - Students will study and discuss the differences between news articles and yearbook copy. Given a list of topics we have covered in the newspaper this year (Homecoming, track, golf, field hockey, football, volleyball, spirit week, Poetry Out Loud, etc...), students will choose one (or more) to modify for yearbook text copy.
Homework: Journalism I - Work on newspaper to yearbook text assignment.
