4. Layout and Design for Third Issue - Designated Journalism students will continue layout and design for Third Issue to be published in April.
5. AP StyleBook - Students will review a second reference page and complete two assessment activities.
6. Associated Press - Students will visit ap.org website and peruse articles. Students will choose one to take notes on: title, 5 W's, and 3 examples of rules already learned from AP stylebook.

2. Technology & News Reporting - The Impact of YouTube.com - Students will share experiences with YouTube.com including posting or watching. Students will read an article and discuss the YouTube effect on teens, celebrities, music, politics, and most importantly, news reporting.
3. Layout and Design for Third Issue - Designated Journalism students will continue layout and design for Third Issue to be published in April.
4. Remaining Journalism students will begin broadcast news assignment. Students will use classroom computers to view online network newscasts and complete analysis questions.
Homework: none, unless you did not complete the broadcast news assignment.

3. Journalism I - News Anchor Project - Students will choose one well-known news anchor to research and prepare a PowerPoint/Prezi/MovieMaker presentation on him or her. Include details, photographs, and video clips about the news anchor's life, education, career, on-air personality, reputation, accomplishments, and trivia.
4. Journalism II & III - Current Event Project - Students will create a multi-media presentation reporting on the importance of three current events - local, national, or world.
4. Final Issue of The Talon: Brainstorming ideas for articles, DoubleTruck ideas - Submitted articles turned in on time will be considered for publication.
